    Fixed blade knife recommendation under 50.

    I have several good knives.
    But looking for one that holds an edge longer/better than what I have.
    This will mostly be for cleaning & skinning game.
    I'd like a nice looking handle - not black zytel or plastic.
    I have;
    - Winchester 3 blade folder - knife ,gut hook and saw.
    - cold steel Pendleton lite hunter.
    - case ridge back ( that I can't find ).
    Plus several folders - cold steel - spyderco - gerbers.

    Is it possible to get a good damascus blade around / under 50 bucks ?
    I see some on amazon but with only 1 review each I'm leary of fakes.
    Fox n hound , leather-n-dagger , Szco supplies. ?????
    Open to suggestions.
    Thanks !

    Moore Maker has some great knives. Not sure they use Damscus steel though. Made in Matador, Tx.

      I have a few Fox n´ Hound Damascus. They seem pretty well made but haven't used one to clean anything so I can't tell you about how they hold an edge.

          Any cheap damascus blade is going to most likely be Pakistan made and not quality steel.

            I was skeptical at the outside edge flip-n-zip at first but it's a great knife and holds edge well! Think they are $49 at BPS right now.
