    My first hunt

    Well it is official, I am booked to hunt out at Thompson Temples the last weekend of August. I know many of you have been out there, any tips or advice for me???

            Not too sure what he is putting me on??? I guess it would be helpful if I knew huh? This trip was actually suppose to be a suprise but I answered the phone when TT called back. LOL

              lol! Well if you are bowhunting(which i hope you are), and you hunt the regular pasture, hunt the alfalfa by thr camp house for and easy stickin! He does have blinds for bow hunters though. You will have shot ops for sure. Try to stay in the first triangle shaped cabin. The trailer..........you ight fall through the floor!!

                  Get a room at the motel in town. The camp houses at TT's place are poor at best. Spend $50 extra bucks and stay in town. You'll be glad you did.

                      Dont laugh, I aint kiddin! I have been there several times. I like hunting there, but I will not stay in his cabins. The little A frame cabin would be really neat to stay in if it was clean. Also, if there are 20 people there, all of them will be using the same two bathrooms... if they work. Stay in town. you'll have your own hot shower, cold a/c and wont have to wait in line for the facilities. Well worth the extra money.

                          Good choice! The closest town is Barksdale. !5 minutes from TT's place. I have the # to the Nuecess River Inn. Just gotta find it. I will be in touch.

                              What kind of ram do you want. I want a black hawiian and have been looking around. We to TT years ago and it didnt work out.Guys say its better now.
