So I was watching this show

And it was all about reincarnation...and one of the people on it was talking about how he was this civil war general reincarnated. and this made me think...every time you hear about someone being someone reincarnated, they were "significant" in their past life. either a king or a general or emperor. how come no one was every a peseant or a squire or a royal toilet cleaner? they're always some significant person. do normal every day people not get reincarnated?

There's a pretty funny bit from the late show with David Letterman and Shelly Duvall? where she goes off on how shes been reincarnated blah blah blah and she asks Dave if he thinks he has been. He responds that he thinks he remembers delivering a pizza to the Eisenhowers....she was not impressed, but it was really funny.
