Hey guys,
One of my first (I think maybe my first) post was a shout out to the guys at Cinnamon Creek Ranch; and it was well deserved. Today, I had to head up to Richardson, and I stopped in at Outdoor Pro Shops. That is another great group of guys. I told them I wanted arrows cut and refletched/nocked and why, and they all stared at me owlishly. They went on to tell me about why I didn't need them cut, they explained things very well, watched me shoot, helped me tune, and gave some advice. No upselling, no confusing language.
About the time we got my pin sighted, I asked, 'okay, so if it were your bow, what would you do next?' Thinking the answer would be, 'well first I'd get this, then do that, then spend some cash and time doing this..' I was pleasantly surprised when the answer was, 'Go hunt.'
Great experience, great knowledge.
