Let me start this off by saying I didn't watch the clip cause I don't have sound here at the office, but I did read the short article. However, PTSD isn't a condition only had by our veterans. While many of them suffer from it and it is a horrible condition, it isn't delegated to only those is military or LEO services. Now, do I think she had PTSD....no. Maybe she had something, but doubtful it was actually PTSD.
Unfortunately I think now with all the vets truly suffering from this disorder, doctors and the general public are now reacting to PTSD the way they did and still do ADD/ADHD in children. Every time someone has a symptom, Oh Lord it must be PTSD. People are so quick to jump to their own diagnosis using Web MD, it's flat out ridiculous.
And in the case of PTSD it is a real shame because it is a very serious condition and with very serious consequences if not dealt with correctly.

I believe in PTSD, but not to the degree that some have claimed. I think 60% of those who claim PTSD may be full of malarky. That is just my opinion of course after working alongside them. However, I have never been seen for it and I have noticed that I am quicker to anger and to emotion since 2003 and my first combat tour. I do believe combat changes you and so can a traumatic event.
