Bringing this back up, Matt. How has this cooler worked out for you? The CoolBot and the winch system both? How long does it take to get it cooled down in the summer?

Still working great! It takes a couple hours to get down to 43 during the heat of the summer. It normally stays around 70 when it's off. This weekend it was running at 38 with it being cool outside.

The winch is a must with a big axis Bucks. Even with 2 people it's hard to lift them high enough to get them on a hook.

Great build. I wish we put a winch in ours as you’re right, those axis are a PITA. We have the cool bot and the walk in building is in shade- takes about an hour to get down to temp in the summer.

Thanks for the info man. We have trying to figure out which route to go on a walk in and have been considering the coolbot.

We have a coolbot at the ranch we manage at it is great, We get it down to 38 if needed up here. Cools down elk quarters really nice.
