    Ups

So I call UPS to see if there is anything special I need to bring in order to ship ammunition. "As long as we don't see what is in there we can ship it"....

ok, well I know I need an ORM-D label to mark it as ammunition. Do I need to provide that or do you have that label?

"Oh, no we can get a label for you"

So my question is, they can ship it as long as they don't see it and put whatever label on there that you want?

So you could ship powders, primers etc without telling them it needs the HAZMAT fee and get away with it?

Kind of confused by their tactics.

Yes you could but you run the risk of it coming open an it not getting delivered... Due to privacy were not allowed to open an check contents. I'm surprised they told you that but technically they are right but if you wanna cya incase it comes open an it's properly labeled they'll just rebox it an send it on its way, if not an it cones open they will charge you to ship it with proper labels before shipping. It's a calculated risk

I understand. I was just confused at the part where he said, as long as we don't see what is in there.

Only because, I have taken multiple things in there and boxed up before.

What he was tryin to say is for all he knows you could be shippin socks an if it's boxed an taped up there's no way they could know any different, but if you take it in there for them to box they'll obviously know the contents an charge you accordingly
