Well my Father in Law passed away in May and this will be the first deer season without him around. I am fortunate to be able to hunt his land and have been for around 10yrs. He lives up in Harwood and miss him calling giving me scouting reports and always looked fowarding to seeing what's on camera. More then hunting I will miss the conversations we had. He led me and my family to Christ about 11 yrs ago and was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer 4 yrs ago even though his had spread and was incurable he fought a good fight and even on bad days still gave God all the glory. He taught me about hunting, and how to be a blueprint on how to be a great christian and father. Even though I'm excited it's kinda a bummer he's not here. This was a pic 2 years ago when my son got his first deer. My FIL couldn't of been more excited.
