I shot several new bows yesterday and here is my review:

All bows shot at 66-68 lbs. and 29" draw with the same carbon arrows and no stabililzer

Hoyt Vectix: a very quiet bow, but heavy and not as fast as some of the others I shot.
Mathews Drenalin: a light, fast bow, but some vibration, moderately quiet
Bowtech Tribute 2007: fast, some recoil, moderate noise
Bowtech Allegiance 2007: same as the Tribute
Bowtech Guardian: heavy, fast, low recoil, no vibration, and extremely quiet

I was impressed with all of the bows, but I ordered a Guardian!

nice riview. I shot the vulcan and the drenailn to. i agree with the dranilin being light and fast and more so about the vibration. i thought that the vibration in the hands was really bad. i did like the vulcan though. i am gonna go shoot the elite synergy and the vectrix next chance i get and then the new alpine.

          Something against Bowtech Deathrow?

I am going to get a new one during the offseason(whitetail). I was going to let theGuardian get a couple of years under it's belt and go with the Allegiance or tribute.

Not at all, i like the look of the new Guardian. I had bought an 05 Bowtech Defendervft and i really didnt like it. I got it and could not get used to it for nothing. I dont know if it was just that particular bow or what. I have heard from several people that alot of Bowtechs are really hard to get used to for some reason. I know that i had that problem. I shoot a hoyt now and have had others in the past. Shooting a Hoyt jsut feels good to me and i can go from one Hoyt to another with no problem. I guess it ahs something to do with the way that i shoot!

They all priced in the same ball park. Looking at a new one myself....first bow actually.

This summer I know i am going to have a hard time making a decision. I will even shoot the Switchback XT to see how the Dranalin stacks up.
