    Millenium vs. Big Game

Ok, so I was at Cabela's yesterday. I have been wanting to get the Millenium 150. I saw the Big Game Aeromag treestand. Looked very similar to the M150 and the same price point. Difference was it is on sale for $180. That's $70 cheaper. So, does anyone have any experience with the two? Is there that big of difference between them? Here is a link to the Aeromag:

    Thanks

I have several Big Game products and really enjoy them they are great for the price.
2 smaller hang on stands, several tripods and 2 20' climbing sticks as well as 3 2 man ladder stands. All are great. directions were clear and easy to follow.

I've got 4 of the Millennium stands & several brackets. The Big Game Treestands look very similiar to the Millenniums. The one thing that I might like better about the Big Game Treestand is the mounting bracket. I've got several of the ratchet brackets for the Millennium stands & sometimes its a pain to get the pin through the strap. Might have to get one of the Big Game stands and try it out.

You might look at Hawk treestands also. They have one that is a lot like a Millenium.

Seems like the Millenium has the ability to change the seat height and deal with a small degree of tree lean. Just not sure that is a difference maker. Sure, at the same price point yes, but at a $70 savings, not sure. haven't spent serious time in either one of them to know.

one thing I noticed is strap that secures to tree...its not chain right? If thats the case its a no go for me....gotsta have CHAIN. Millenniums have chain.

Gotta have chain. I haven't used the Millenium stands but I do have a Big Game 2 man ladder stand and tripod and they work great. they are both 8 years old. As far as lock on stands I use the Woodseytoo. They are rated for 500lbs and fit any tree. And they have chain

Just did some research. The New Millenium M150 does not have a chain. It has a racket strap as well. Not sure there is anything wrong with a strap. Since I hook my safety harness to a strap it doesn't make much sense to not have confidence in them

                      Still undecided.

I always go with the original maker not knock offs
