Tx_hombre's 2nd bulk buy cameras

The thread about bulk buying cameras made me think about mine. I bought 2 cameras from Tx_hombre back in 2010 and wish I would have bought a hundred!! Best cam I've ever had. Good pics, great battery life and I run them 24/7/365. I'll probably cry when they quit working...

I agree-I bought 3 of them and they were great cameras unfortunately I sold them to "upgrade" to newer cameras and what a dumb move that was.

I know after the 3rd buy that didn't go well and the TBHers who threw a fit I don't blame him for not hanging around much. Many a good member has had it with some around here...

So whats the deal? This guy makes these cameras? Or does he buy them and resale for cheap, if so what brand? I see he hasn't posted in a while, think he still sells? If their good, i need about 5.

He had a deal with the manufacture in China and did 3 buys I believe. 1st was OK and the 2nd was the shiznit. 3rd had tons of problems and the Chinese company drug their feet and seems customs may have been an issue as well. We knew it was a gamble ordering this way but a few pitched a terrible fit.
For those I recommend going to Academy and buy a Moultrie so you can return it weekly.

I regret sitting on the sidelines for the 2nd purchase.

My 2 cameras (and replacement) were nothing but expensive paper weights, but I knew it was a gamble going in. Rob did his best and it's a shame the way he was blamed for the camera shortcomings.

I too have one of the second batch. It is very very similar to a trophy cam I bought today

I guess mine was the 3rd buy. Rob tried to do something good for us and the manufacturer let him down.

I got 1 from the first and second order and they are still in use. That 3rd one is the only I didn't get one. I would still try it again.
