Saw that clip earlier at work. He is lucky if he did not sustain some kind of serious injury

Saw it on Sportscenter last night. That was the only time I've ever cringed seeing someone get hit by a pitch and I played baseball for 14 years.

Delino Deshields Jr got hit by a pitch at a Frisco RoughRiders game in April, he went down like a sack of taters...ended up with a non-displaced sinus fracture. Check out his pic.

Stanton went down hard as well, hope he is ok.

Stanton Hit By Pitch

I hit my brother with a fastball on the side of the head and he was not wearing a helmet. Thought I killed him, Dad did to from the beating I got. I was pitching Batting practice, I was 17 he was 10 and dad was catching. I asked dad if I could crank one pitch out and it got away from me and hit him in the head.

I took one to the neck from Josh Beckett at 94mph. Caught me right below the ear guard. I heard it, but I never saw it. I heard a ZZzzzzz WHOP! Then I woke up in the dugout.

Lucky it didn't kill you! I've been hit by a few pitches, thankfully never in the face.
