One last "special" at BAO for the season. Last weekend of the season, noon Friday 1/5/07 to noon Sunday 1/7/07 - total cost $400. I have 5 openings.

Johnson Ranch, Newcastle, TX - 1 buck (8pt/outside the ears or spike) 2 does, 2 turkeys (either sex), unlimited hogs and varmits.

Lodging included. You'll need your own food, linens, and transportation.

Trailboss, how has your hunters success been this season? I understand that this is Bow hunting and not shooting.. How many oppertunities that you know of, have there been...

I can't afford to come but would love to. The info will be for future referance.

I honestly do not keep up with the "opportunities". Too many factors to consider. Some hunters choose not to shoot, some shoot and miss, some shoot and connect but don't recover, some don't get shot opportunities.

But I can tell you that we have had 12 does and 12 bucks killed and recovered this year. 4 of the bucks will gross score P&Y.

In addition we have had 13 hogs and 2 turkeys killed as well as a bobcat and a coyote.

Thank's for the info trailboss. The top of your answer post is what I was refering to. Sounds like a good place. Maybe I'll have some extra doe..LOL next season, and can come have a good time and hunt with ya'll.

That is part of my old stompin ground when I was a young feller. My family is from Christal Falls area if you know where thats at. Went to school at Woodson when I was just a wee lad...

We had family in Throckmorton, Breckenridge, Graham, and all over the country out that way. Still have some out there.....

Awesome! Especially since this is the best time of the season for big buck sightings since the doe fawns are just now coming into heat.

Someone jump on this its some of the best looking hunting property I have hunted in a long time and John and the guys at BAO are top notch.
