    Need tire advice

I have a set of tires on my truck that have about 40k on them. They still have a ton of tread left (at least 40-50%). I noticed it riding funny, kind of bouncing, so I inspected the tires this evening. My front passenger tire has a big flat spot/bubble thing going on.

    Would you:

    Replace all four tires

    Or

    Only replace the problem one?

They are 305/55/20 Mickey Thompson Baja atz and ain't cheap.

If the others share the same DOT I'd replace all 4 ASAP. If not I'd replace the separated tire and the next worse at a minimum. Personally I like replacing all four at once

Me too. My only holdback is how seemingly good the other 3 look. Of course this one did too until now...

Replace them by the pair. Keep the good one as a spare.

Replace your shocks as well. This problem is a lot of times caused by bad shocks.

I have had this thus in my front end lately when I hit a bump. I'll probably just take the truck in and have it checked out before I buy any tires.

Might need a lift and bigger tires at the same time...

Discount tire just replaced one of mine and told me it was the shock. Unless I fix it they won't keep replacing it. I guess those guys se that a lot. I reached the rear shocks and this thing rides like its on a cloud now.

My fronts are fairly new, but rears are factory. This tire is on the front, but they are rotated regularly. I think im just gonna get a good inspection on the whole suspension system.
