    Free Dog

I hate to do this and it honestly breaks my heart. But it's either try to find him a good home or put him down. The neighbors keep calling and complaining about how he randomly attacks their dogs out of the blue. Three calls in the past two weeks. I have never seen him do this. Ever. What I do know he does is chase the other neighbors cattle. I can't afford to build a fence around my property and I refuse to keep a dog tied up or kenneled all day. He would make the perfect dog for someone who has a fenced in yard. He is a dang good watch dog. He's a little over 1.5 years old and i think is part american bulldog. He is house broke and loves to snuggle with you while you're sleeping.

Heres the kicker. He doesn't care much for new people. That is the tricky part. It would take some time for him to adjust but I guarantee he would be the most loyal dog. I really need some help on this one guys. He is the dog in the back of the picture.

How big is your property?? Maybe some of the TBH guys could get together for a weekend project of building a good sized fenced in area?! Doesn't have to go around the whole property, just be big enough for the dogs to run around!! With some donations of time and $$, Im sure it would get done pretty easy!! I will kick in some $$ just so the dog doesn't get put down!!!!

That's really generous but there's no way I could accept that. I'm not one to take hand outs. I think I'll talk to the wife and try a kennel for a little while until we can afford to do something else

Try the kennel during the day. Ours spend the day in kennels when we are at work and don't seem to mind. They just have more energy when we get home!

Kennel works great. My border collie pup sleeps in hers even with the door open. It's a feel good safe place for her I guess.

Sorry I cannot take the dog. Ever thought of getting a petsafe fence? I have used these at my deer camp and at my cabin in Wisconsin. It works great for my dogs to keep them in the yard or at our cabin, but they do not have to be tied up.

I have a Iverhart wireless fence. If you want it I will send it to you. I never set that one up because it does not work with metal buildings. I did not realize it at the time when I bought it and my cabin where I was going to use it is is basically a metal building. It might be worth a shot??? Otherwise the hard wired ones work pretty well. It only took me a day to bury the wire all the way around a 2 acre yard.

Thank you but we actually live in a barndominium so it wouldn't work. We just went and bought a shock collar. We'll keep him in the kennel during the day and we'll have the shock collar when he begins acting up outside.
