    Mobile app build question

How much would you spend on paying someone to build a mobile app?

I found a company that builds apps and they want to know my expectations. They have several levels, and 'Under $20,000" is the lowest level, and goes up to "over $200,000" which of course is major corporate level, which isn't my business!
I wonder how much TPWD paid for their mobile app Outdoor Annual. Mine would be on the same level, basically.

Depends on the type of coding and how long to produce it.
All about the quantity of hours and complexity of the project.

So this app - it will need updates annually. Probably a good idea to use GPS locator so the user can pull up shoots in their area or pick from several metropolitan areas. the majority of the app will be textual, right?

If you can't code it, the only way to know if its a good price is to shop around. Just because the app is simple looking and functioning doesn't mean its easy to code.

Also everyone codes differently. It could take one company 50 lines to code something and it take another guy 10.
