I personally didn't serve in the Armed Services, but 2 of my uncles and 5 of my closest friends did. It ****** me off so much when our servicemen get disrespected and mistreated in their own country.

That's the way I read it--the rent-a-cop's opinion or his company's policy, and not the school district's. When my wife first told me about it I was ready to e-mail the school district and blast them, but turns out wasn't needed. Perhaps an e-mail in support would be in order.
