I know that probably 99% of all property is privately owned in Texas. I'm just curious though, if I wanted to bowhunt in the San Antonio area, is there any lands available open to the public. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
go to your TPWD and you can get a Type II hunting permit. Texas has thousands of acres of public hunting all over the state and they will send you a book of the locations.
