I put a major dent in our by trapping every weekend I was up there. I think we caught 32-34 in a summer of trips. After we thinned them out, I installed the varmint guards below with 1"x1" holes. They have easy drop down access and never had a problem again.

Dad had issues with the Spintechs catching corn in the crack on the way back up and had coons spinning it down backward to get at corn. Once they learned how to back it down it was all over. Hopefully Eliminator has solved its earlier problems with weak links.

Vaseline the legs. Just have a good answer why the tub is in the truck.

Eliminator plates, spin techs, Z traps. Excellent RX. If you go with Z traps, get the kit that comes with tool to set, and a safety device to prevent the trap from biting you......

                  1x1" cage works for me!

I really don't mind them knocking corn out but they have destroyed my feeders motor, timer, and solar panel.

If the spin techs hold up to the abuse, I will definitely buy one. I have a cage on the bottom with 1x1 squares but they use it as monkey bars, until they pull the entire thing down.

I'm not close enough to the place for a .22 to be most effective.

Works good on my two feeders

One inch cage is good but lots corn drops straight down in a pile.
White PVC looks ugly and works wonders.
My feeders are almost maintainer free since we installed the correct pipe
                            Schedule 40 for slickness!
