    How Long

After you shoot hogs in a corral trap does it take before they start coming in again? I'm sure it can vary depending on location, time of year, etc. But I am just curious about what people's experience has been.

For this discussion, let's assume I use non-vanilla flavored corn as bait.

This made for a great laugh. I was already giggling when I opened the thread from the title, then the first post was icing on the cake!

After reading the vanilla thread and seeing how it brought in the hogs, I was actually considering using some vanilla spray around the trap to mask the smell of death. But I was a little concerned that I may not be able to get out of there before they all piled in on top of me.

I've seen hogs eat dead hogs.

                      I don't think it matters.

^ if they have not gotten trap wise you can catch them every night if you have the population.

I have trapped and killed many hogs. I have had several times where I catch hogs two nights in a row. And I always kill the hogs in the trap. I bait with corn and rotted fruit (pears, melons, peaches etc.) when it's available from my garden and orchards.
