hey did you try imitation vanilla compared to pure vanilla bean extract??? I found 8oz imitation at the dollar store for $1, the pure bean $2.50 for 4oz. let me know. and thank you for all the R&D

Dang Jeff, thanks for trying again... It was fun. I told my wife last night when she goes grocery shopping again, to get me 5 or 6 bottles of vanilla extract... She looked at me with that "Look" and asked why... I told her theres a "dood" on TBH that's feedin' it to deer and hogs... she busted out laughing with this deep rolling on the floor laugh... Then she said, "Why not, I'll play along..." maybe I'll get to start my own thread!

I think some people fail to realize that deer in different places react differently to new things in their environment.
I see people having great results with rice bran in some areas, in others it will scare the deer away. Same with cotton seed. I see posts about it all the time with bucks that can't get enough. I tried some in east Texas and it rotted in the wire basket.
So, someone's tried and true, never fail, "secret" weapon may be working gangbusters for them but is a total flop in a different part of the state. No need to get upset about differing results than your own.
