                  This one gets my vote. Great burger but it is a ways out of Fredericksburg but definitely worth the drive.

                  If you are in Temple/Belton Crow's Burgers is pretty good eats.

                    I didn't even know there was still a restaurant in Richland Springs. Stagecoach maybe? It used to be downtown but not sure if it's still open.

                        Hard to be Mel's in Huffsmith (Tomball area)... If you can order and eat the Mel's burger special, you get your picture on the wall. I've never been brave (or stupid) enough to try it. I just get their "normal cheeseburger"...

                        This ain't "central Texas" but I figger'd if Kemah/Seabrook places can be mentioned, then Mel's is WAY more "central" than that...
