North Dakota trip went well. My buddies hit but lost their deer and I didn't see any bucks until the last night. I was looking to drop one of the monster bucks that we had been seeing on trail camera's but I just didn't have the luck. I did not want to go away empty handed and I am in no way a trophy hunter so I told myself if an 8 point or better came in I would take him. He came in at about 7:30 pm at about 18 yards, great shot placement, and I watched him run about 50 yards before he dropped. If I go back to ND next year, most likely in October, I will be a little more selective.
