    Used Vehicle Price Negotiation

I'm looking at buying a new or new to me truck in the near future. I've never bought a used vehicle from a dealership and I'm wondering what kind of negotiation room there might be. (I'm just internet browsing right now until I sell my current truck.)
A dealership has a 'no hassle' price that is upper end of the KBB retail pricing (it does have lots of options/extras that aren't listed in the KBB calculation). They have had the truck on their lot for almost three months.
Obviously, this is late summer/early fall - the 2015 vehicles are soon to be on the lots. I understand that Ram/Chevy/GMC are planning lots of incentives to keep folks away from the soon-to-be-available 2015 F150 - so, there may be great deals available for brand new 2014 trucks.
I realize the used vehicle market is strong (for sellers), but I don't see any reason to pay only 15-20% less for a 1 or 2 year old truck than I could pay for a brand new one.
So, what kind of percentage off do you think could be had?
How much off have you been able to negotiate at a dealer for a used truck?
Let's just throw out sample numbers like: A 2014 truck with similar features would be around $50 (without deals/incentives). Dealer has a 2013 listed for $42.

I work at a dealership. And what I know is there usually is very little room to move numbers. They buy the vehicle for a certain amount from the customer and they try and make a very small amount back out if it. But it also depends on what the deal was like when the vehicle was brought in. If they got top dollar for there trade then that number will b very firm.

            X2

I bought a truck from him years ago over the phone/internet and it was one of the most enjoyable buying experiences I've encountered.

lol, I don't have a lot, I run a banks indirect side, I have helped numerous people on this site get a great deal on vehicles, UTV and interest rates. When you do $2M a month in business with dealers they tend to help your friends out. If you remember the Dallas Dodge deal on TBH and how that went down< I am the one who got him set up with a great deal and financing that was hassle free.....

Let me know exactly what you want and I can usually find it and get you a way better price than you can get

One thing to remember now with most dealerships especially on used. Generally there are 2 prices. The price they have on their list in house for a used vehicle, and the online price for that same vehicle which is generally a lot lower. Generally not much if any wiggle room in the online price. One dealership I've dealt with had none at all in their online price. After talking numbers over 5 days they would move a little on trade in, but that online price wouldn't budge a dollar.
