On the iphone I had I had to double tap the screen to get it too zoom in.

I am reading this on an ipad. I could not get it to zoom in at first, but then figured out I had to double click on it, and the zoom worked fine doing that.

Cool. You can also double tap the links embedded in the ads to visit the websites of the advertisers. The winners of the photo and story contests can also be revealed by double tapping.
