A lot changed from version 1 pre wreck
    Was 383 stroker w turbo 400
Now 396 with turbo 400 added hurst quarter stick shifter in floor
    Was factory cowl hood
Now hardwood custom hood with Zeus fasteners
    Was maybe 350/400 hp
    Now over 700
I decided to get a little ugly with this version

Nothing like a Big Block Chevelle. Glad it's coming together for you.

Awesome. Have details on build? I had a 450 horse 383 built for my corvette last year. It has break in and 1 mile on the engine and I've already decided its too boring. Going to build a big block shooting for 7-800 with fuel injection and streetable.

I wrecked my 67 chevelle in 1989. I had to splice the passenger side frame arm and replace the core support and a bunch of parts that I salvaged from a 67 El Camino parts car. I had it painted and running again in 2 months. 4 years later I was in college and got into a bind money wise. I regret my decision to let it go every day. Good on you for fixing yours. It looks good.

Really not sure on what all went into the motor. One of my good friends from high school built the motor for me unfortunately he passed away before I ever got the rest of the car ready to install it I know it was bored a larger crank was used some high dollar Pistons big valves roller cam etc. no one really knows what all he put in it but it runs like a scalded ape

I was worried about the weight but it doesn't seem to bother anything. Tossing around some gear ratios for the fear end now 411 or 383

I may have missed it. 10 or 12 bolt rear end?
