Police have said there isn't enough evidence of criminal intent to charge with a crime. NASCAR has no ruling to make. He is back in the car and still hasn't earned his spot in the Chase.

But then again, "intent" is not a requirement to file a criminal homicide or assault charge.................

          The findings are in...

If you decide to run out in the middle of a race track during an active race there is a good possibility if being run over and killed.

Ontario County sheriff said it will be at least two weeks before the investigation is complete.

Yep, still ongoing and even after their findings there will be the possibility of civil suits. I'm sure it will go on for a couple years. I think he handled the press statement Friday the best he could.

Agreed. I mean these are supposed to be professionals so they know the risks of getting out of their cars. Dont get me wrong it's still a tragedy that it happened.
