Feeder build question. Need help

I am about to mount some 3/4 inch conduit on my 55 gal drum that will slide into my feeder legs, which are 7 or 8 ft long. Does anybody know what angle to bend this at? One guy on another forum said 20 degrees but that seems like to much for 8 ft poles. I don't have my feeder legs with me or I could figure it out. TIA
