    I think I created a monster...

Last dove season the wifey went on a few hunts just to see the dog work. She made a couple comments this summer about dove hunting. Sent her to a lady in Liberty Hill for a lesson and she had her busting 50-60% left to right passing shots in a couple hours. All of a sudden its go time. She is calling MY bird dog HER bird dog. Last night out of nowhere she says, "Im leaning towards the Benelli over the Browning". My eyes about popped out of my head.

So...I am meeting her at 11am to buy a 20ga. Guess I need to start looking for another bird dog too.

Last year was my wife's first year to dove hunt with me and this year I think she is looking forward to it more than me. She had shot skeet with me in the past, but never hunted.

Where were you able to find a lady to give your wife a lesson because I want one too?

No sir, not any longer! Benelli is now making the M2 20 ga. in LEFT HANDED! They're awesome!

to the OP: Just get her what she wants and thinks is "pretty"... Nothing better than having a wife that enjoys hunting with you!! Oh and don't worry 'bout the dog, she probably took over the dog long before now anyway. If you had a dozen, they'd be "hers" too... My dogs have always loved me, but anytime we both called them, they'd go to her first... unless I pulled out the whistle!

                    Congratulations to both of you!
