And dare I say even Pat Green? Just heard a new song of his with Lyle Lovette and liked it pretty well. Texas Girls Are a Little Bit Better.

Well, PG is one of the best singer/songwriters in the history of Texas Music. His old stuff is as good as it gets and far superior to all the new wannbe's out there today. He packed em in the big joints in the late 90's/early 2000's.

It's weird how he fell off the map. I mean, most of the other big dog's new stuff sucks today as well. The scene is dead. Big time.
