What's going on with these cameras? I originally bought the Truth 35 for $70 or so several years ago. A few months ago I bought another one at Academy when they were all on clearance for $30. After that the new smaller model was on clearance for $30 because they were supposedly discontinued so I bought one of those too.

Now the smaller 35 is in a big package with the tree mount for $100 and the old big 35 is back in the store for $70. Are these old stock they are trying to clear out or what?

Makes ya wonder what trail cams are going to look like in 10 years. I remember the first camera trail cams out there way back... where you used real film. We have come a long way. I bet real time video to your phone will come out in the next year or two.
