Need an Elite Trophy 200+ class Whitetail Experience recommendation

A great friend of mine works for a melon company in Costa Rica. He and his boss will be in South Texas the first part of november. His boss wants to take a 200+ class buck on a rifle hunt. Really wants to experience a really high class place with all the amenities of an elite hunt and lodge. So I guess money is not an object here.

Any suggestions?

If he does not care if they have ear ring holes in their ears then look at the Nooner Ranch and Rhode Ranch. East Texas look at Venado Creek or High Roller Ranch.

They both put a lot of them in Los Cazadores Contest.

I'm not in south Texas, but I have several bucks in that range if he doesn't mind coming to the Abilene area.

I would look at lone hollow whitetails(over the top lodging and ranch), Star S Ranch, and maybe a distant third look at Record Buck Ranch. If he would consider free range and price not a problem go to King Ranch.

My vote is for Venado Creek Ranch in San Augustine, TX. Won an axis hunt there, the lodge is 5-star with an excellent chef and top notch guides. They have plenty of 200"+ deer and the ranch is beautiful. Added plus, the ranch manager is a member here.

The Retamosa ranch between Encinal and Cotulla...super lodge there, huge deer and it's South Texas!
