I have one that built a web right above one of the outside faucets. He/She is catching a LOT of skeeters, june bugs, just leaving it alone to do it's thing!

Garden Spider is what we call them as well. Can give you a pretty painful bite too! I have them at my house and feed them every day when I get home.

Well dang I hope he survived the quick burst of fire. Any colorful spider I assume is poisonous until I know it's not and didn't want it to bite my dogs.

Banana spider - they have a good way of being at eye level when your riding trough the lease. Hate running through them and getting them on you.

Garden spider. Have 5 in my barn area and they clean the bugs up!!!!!

I have heard them called banana spiders but pretty sure a true banana spider is deadly while these are harmless (but can make you hurt yourself)

We called them cotton spiders
