    Does, Does, Does.....

Within the last year I purchased a piece of land which is a homestead in progress in Dripping Springs, its approximately 12 acres in size in a ranchette community. Although I'm in a ranchette area, I back up to some large ranches and the habitat ramains pretty wild at the back of my property. So Ive set up two feeders, one at the back of my property, and one at the front which puts em about a quarter to half mile apart. Ive put up my game camera alternating feeders for the last two months. I saw a few nice mature 8's about a month ago, but nothing but big large does with fawns and plenty of them every day religiously since then with no bucks. I'm fine with at least having meat show up but what are the chances of something good coming around in these circumstances? I have a 1,000 acre lease I primarily hunt but would like to see what my little places potential holds. Anyone have any similar experiences, or input on what to expect for season? Thanks.

I'm seeing the same thing. Just hoping when the bucks start chasing the does I'll be there
