what kind is this? And no I didn't kill it. The lady said that it was a copperhead, but I don't think it is. What y'all say?

Looks like a bad@$$ snake still ready to bite you after being chopped in half lol. Kinda looks like a copper head but hard to tell.

Think it's called a brown snake. Seriously. Simple name but that's what I have always heard people call them.
