what type broadcast spreader do you use?

Getting ready to buy a broadcast spreader and was wanting some reviews. who uses... tractor 3pt broadcaster? atv attached battery powered spreader? pull behind spreader? hand held walk and turn spreader?

I need to plant about 500lbs of rye grass.

I've tried them all and settled on the 3-pt spreader for large seeds and fertilizer and a hand held for smaller seeds.
The 3-pt holds 450 lbs and makes spreading very easy. Use a low setting and keep riding until it's empty.
The hand held holds about 15 lbs and lets me get a better distribution of the smaller seeds.

IF you try to use a euro or the 3 pt hook up type running off pto then you need a tractor with ground speed and pto speed read out at same time so you can put out right amount of seed. It also depends on ground condition and type soil....When I plant rye I use the 3 pt Euro seeder but when plant oats I use my john deere grain drill......Andy
