    Deerview windows

I searched, but I couldn't find what I was looking for... Mostly because I am impatient, but also because it's easier this way. I am building a blind and I am going to use the camo hinge windows... Probably 24x10 http://deerviewwindows.com/camo-hinge-window-2/ does anybody have any pictures of theirs? Do they keep bugs, wind, and rain out? Also, what is the difference in the clear glass, and the grey glass.

    Thanks, Dean.

I don't have pics but the blind is definitely warmer on the windy days with them shut. I have the hinge windows and they close pretty tight. I bet thehunted will post you up some pics.

I've been following that blind build. I love it. Are your windows the clear or grey?? Do the keep bugs out?

I have them in 11 blinds. The grey is better in strong light. I like the clear better for early and late conditions. They are definitely worth the money. No one else has a product near them.

I'm pretty sure mine are clear but I have the camo mesh on this blind build. I thought I would give them a try. No problems with bugs or moisture. A driving rain straight into the window may get you a drip or two but nothing serious. I love em and they are easy to install and pretty easy on the wallet too.

That's the most awesome blind ever! Jeez, I hope my wife doesn't see it because I'll have to build one like it at our new place! Lol! I've been thinking about building a giant hunting blind/fort/clubhouse/treehouse so the kids will have somewhere to play and kill stuff out of - that blind of yours has my top floor gears spinning! Lol! Maybe I'll wait until I have the time and money to copy that thing! Totally awesome!

Did you design it yourself or find plans for it?

I have 2 blinds with the flip up windows. I put 1" velcro around the edge of the windows where the window makes contact that seals them off where nothing gets around the edges no wind nor water.

You basically have the windows velcroed closed?

NO I only used the velcro (loop side) on the frame of the blind nothing on the window frame. It acts as seal so nothing gets in. Sorry I do not have a picture. You could do the same thing with felt.

So the window basically shuts down and puts pressure on the Velcro(the stingy side, not the hard plastic side?) creating a seal? What about some of that door seal tape? It's like foam on one side with sticky tape on the back side.
