    This one takes the cake as far as gimmicky BS goes. Im not sure if I'm more taken back by the supply or the demand for this nonsense.

      I saw a few setups that Mike Palmer of Palmer recurves when he ran First Point Bowhunting in South Texas that involved an artificial tree or two. But he made his from scratch. He used his for cover when he wanted to set up a stand and there were no trees.

      The biggest gimmick I ever saw was a thing called the Hunting Buddy. It was a dummy that looked like a hunter. You put it in your stand when you were not there so the deer would get used to seeing someone in the tree. They advertised in a few mags but they did not last long.

                      I have been hanging artificail Christmas tree branches in trees, on bushes and on camo netting for years. But I will not claim that it DRAWS THEM IN.

                      Oh yeah the aluminum ones don't work as well.
