Hogs moved in about three years ago. Wanting to keep them out of feeders. What do y'all use? Hog panels? Will roll wire work? How big of an area do you fence? Thanks.
I think you need to shoot a bunch of them. Or trap them and then shoot them. If there are more hogs than deer on your place you are in trouble unless you prefer pork over venison.
I use panels or roll wire. You will need to pull the roll wire very tight or they will get through it/under it. T posts work great with trees as corners if possible.
10 hog panels in a circle. No corners for them to bust open. They will walk around and bounce off of it.
Over lap the panels 2 squares.
Put your T post in the middle of the overlap. Tie it off 3-4 times
You will have an inside the pin overlap and a outside the pin overlap.
Tie every strand on the outside overlap, this is the only place they can break into it.
Tie the inside overlap 3-4 times.
For more strength you can put T post in the middle of each panel. We do on some and others we don't. Never had a problem with either.

This but build a trap door on one section and trap them a couple times before season!
Build hog panel fence around feeder. Lay hog panels on the ground tie off to fence and stake down the outside edge of panels. Hogs can't root under them
