Anyone have a Lennar built home?

Does anyone on here have any experience with a Lennar built home or have had any dealings with them? Any info would be appreciated

If you are looking to buy, keep looking. I know a lot of people in the "biz", and you might want to explore other options.

Lennar is very cookie cutter, they accept no changes to the floor plans. Because of this, they can build the houses quickly and you get a good value. If you have a warranty issue that a contractoer is responsible for, they will have it taken care of immediately as they have a lot of clout with their suppliers. if it is their responsibility, they are less cooperative and the squeaky wheel gets the oil. You will have to holler at them and stay on top of them. Overall, i have been pleased with the value they represent, but i had to stay on top of them. Good luck

For a cookie cutter they build nice homes - but they will not let you change anything. I used to build for them

neighborhoods in Hutto have lawsuits against them. I work with a guy in on it.

Thanks guys. There are some nice neighborhoods going in on the north side of San Antonio and I was just curious as to what type of homes they build. Its always good to hear alittle bit about both sides.
