Yesterday I got home from work to find that one of our Bottlebrush trees we just planted this spring has broken close to the base and was bent over 90 degrees. I had it tied up with T-posts but evidently my twine rotted and broke during some pretty good winds yesterday. Anyhow, I stood the tree back up and tied it off again. I was curious if you think it will make it or not? Is there something special I should do where the tree actually cracked? Do they make some kind of tree Band-Aid?
