    Lexus Key Broken.....HELP!!

Dang key broke on my RX300 Lexus. The Lexus dealer wants 100 bucks to replace it in which they will use the same internal programing part and replace outer shell. Was told a totally brand new key is $240 bucks
Any locksmiths out there? or suggestions on any other alternatives? Sure didnt want to dish out 100 bucks if there is a better way to go. This is a pretty common issue with Lexus keys I am told. Design problem. Thanks!

If you can afford a Lexus ...you can afford and new key.

No help here, hope you get it fixed for under 100.00 but it was funny for me to read that someone owns that car but won't spend 100.00 to fix it.
