Anyone else just clueless about what to do?

Past couple years fig the deer out on my place in the summer was pretty easy but this year I can't fig anything out. I had a bunch of diff bucks coming In to one spot I was hand Corning. We had a big 4th of July get together at our place and ever since them I have just been lost. My house is only about 500 yards from this spot it's not like we went to our deer lease as had a big party or anything like that. Anyone else had this prob and what did u do.

Well maybe their pattern changed because of a new neighbor, food source, road or dogs.
Have you looked at an aerial map recently?

Always looking at google earth. we sold 10 acres last year and they started building but that's been going on since march. I have been moving around to find them but no luck but couple young bucks.

They're upset because you didn't invite them to the party....

We changed all of our set ups this year to areas that we thought deer would be moving. No longer using the 'oh this spot looks like a cool place to hunt' mentality. We moved stands to different geographically unique spots i.e. plateau/woodline edges, ridge lines, and oak motts.

Do you have trail cams out? How big is the place?

Chris, some of it may have to do with the deer not needing to come to the feeder/corn. There is PLENTY natural things for them to eat. I am struggling to get pictures of deer at my Grayson county feeder. All while the fields near me fill up every evening with tons of deer. I know the deer are there. Food just hasn't become tough enough for them to rely on my feeder. That's okay though, come December, I know where the deer will be. At my feeder/food plot!

It's been a pretty wet summer...they might have enough natural groceries right now...that's my .02 cents.

We haven't got a lot of rain but it has been spaced out real well so everything stays green.
