So what are your "Quiet" deer stand snacks?

When I'm hunting alone during bow season I only take a bottle of water with me. When gun season starts I often find myself in a stand with one of my kids or step kids. Man when they pack for a hunt you would think they are gonna be gone for a week! Soft drinks, gum, candy, zebra cakes, powdered donuts, and nutty bars! That's their "hunting food". All the sugar does keep them awake for a while anyway

Snack of choice in a gun blind, Oreo cookies, Cinnamon Teddy Grahams and trail mix.

Edit.....Breakfast is usually Pop Tarts. They are taken out of the wrapper at camp and put in a plastic zip lock.

Powdered donuts and chocolate milk in the morning and jerky and Lone Star in the evening.

The kids love oatmeal cream pie's while in the stand. I usually do not eat until after the hunt.

Hahaha. Sounds like you are hunting with my kids. When I'm hunting alone it's granola bars and coffee in the morning and Budweiser in the evening. I need to invent a beer can top that ain't sooo loud when you crack a fresh cold one

So I guess my snacks ain't so "quiet"

It's amazing to me how loud opening a can or even twisting a bottle can be when you're in the woods on a silent morning

bottles instead of cans...although if you blow ur grunt call loud enough you can pop cans pretty stealthy
