    could i get in trouble???

So my stepson at the age now of 26, gets a free pass on his hunter ed last year. My question is if he doesn't get his hunter ed this year and we get checked with kills or just hunting, can i be ticketed or just him?

      Just him I believe.

My buddy was with us dove hunting once and didn't have it and got a ticket, it didn't effect us any.

Will they still sell you a license the year after you do the deferral?

Yes it's not a requirement to buy a license.

If he's 26 he can do it online. Its easy and takes a lot less time than the class.

My wife did it last year or the year before online. Its super easy. You still have to go do a short classroom part but it was easy as well.

It would be well worth it.

26 ? He is an adult . Why would a parent ( or step parent , or any other adult ) be ticketed for a adult not having his hunter ed ?

The ticket can be 500 Lets see 30 or 500 sees like an easy solution. Plus they can seize any game he killed and he would have to pay restitution. Ouch that can be 1000s. Just do what the law says its cheaper.
