    Pay It Forward Friday

Not that Friday should be the only day for someone to "Pay It Forward" but I was wondering if anyone else has a pay it forward story to tell.

It was around Christmas time last year when I took my family out for breakfast at this little café in town. We were about half way through our meal when a couple that was sitting in the corner came over to us and handed me a Christmas card. He said that I had a beautiful family and he proceeded to tell me this story of how someone once gave him a Christmas card and how he never forgot it. So now every year he and his wife find a stranger and give them a Christmas card.

They left and I opened the card to read it to my family when a $50 bill fell out. This took my whole family by surprise and was a PERFECT lesson for my kids to see.

Ever since that day I have tried to Pay it Forward myself on Fridays.

Anyone else have any stories to share???

Pretty much every time I go to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast I pay for the vehicle behind me no matter what. I try not to look at what kind of vehicle it is or how many people are in it. I just know there's very few fast food restaurants who have better customer service, and there's nothing better than free food AND great service to start your day.

Nephew called Wednesday upset about money problems and just needed to vent in general and this about 2 years between phones ..I'm way older so MY BAD...I told him it will get better to keep his chin up he thank me for time a we hung up ...today I called him and told him I need help my Ford was acting up @ bank ..I pulled into the parking lot and found him .. handed him a big hug and a envelop and told him someone had helped me start my F 150
( now it was NEVER down, truck that is) yea yea we kissed on cheeks and hugged again and told him to enjoy his weekend . Now how much was in envelope DOESN'T matter ,what matters is he can pay bills with it. His texted back 30 mins later and sent a picture of his 4 month old son....picture said a million thank you

I try to help people out with my skills quite often and ask them to pay it forward instead of paying me. I like to think it does some good.

I bought a lady coffee recently. It was strange how it all happened but something came over me and i just paid for it and she was shocked and happy. It was $1.76 total.

She said thank you over and over.

It was not the monetary value it was the experience.

The Chick Fil A close to where I used to work would always tell me that my meal had been paid for by the person in front of me. I would always pay for the person behind me.

We had dinner bought for us on Christmas Eve at Saltgrass in Galveston a couple years ago. We have no idea who or why, but it surprised the heck out of us.
