After the FLOOD - Time for carpet - Plano

Had a connector on the water line going to the toilet tank break and flood half the bottom floor. What a mess! Bad thing was I was home sick and was on the lab top and cell phone doing some work, when I realized I heard a noise ....the water!!
By the time I realized what happened and shut the water off I had a flood!. Master bath, closet and bedroom, kitchen breakfast room, back hall, bath and back bedroom and closet SOAKED.
Good think was we wanted to replace the carpet anyway, but the bad thing was it got to the solid oak floors in the hall and dinning room.....that was less than two years old!
The wood has been removed, floor and walls dried out and new wood is down. They will sand stain and poly this next week. Now time for new carpet.
I have someone lined up to install it, they one that removed the wet.
He sells Beaulieu brand, but have no idea if it is good stuff of not. Anyone have recommendations of do you sale it??? Will need 63 SqYds.
    THANKS!

I know that feeling all too well. I had a flood 3 months after the house was built. I wasn't home when a brass valve in the water distribution panel ruptured. Water was blowing into the wall for probably a couple hours before I got home. There was so much water even the front yard was flooded. I had about an inch of water throughout the first floor.

Good luck to you on the reconstruction.
