    I'm pretty sure in my office if you told people you didn't

    A: Own several firearms
    B: Slay animals on the regular

    They'd find you to be an odd duck. Maybe that's just oil people

      [QUOTE=grizzman;8925010]. I google myself periodically.

      This might be a little too much information

        Always tell the truth...

        That way, you don't have to remember anything.

            Most PETA members live with their parents and rarely see sunlight. Don't worry about it.

Point being that if most of the panel are on the Board of PETA or people who would judge you based on your hobbies, would you want to work for them anyway? The #1 defining factor for job satisfaction is respecting and liking those you work with daily. Just one headhunter's point of view.
                  This is spot on.

                  There has to be more to a job than a paycheck, and if you were in a situation where your hobbies were going to be held against you for promotion, raises, etc how would you ever enjoy your work.

                    This^^^^^^!

                    I list family, travel, and outdoors when asked.

                    Congrats on the 2nd interview, may you find favor with it.

                      I don't ask that question when I interview simply because I struggle with the interpretation of the info and usually just dismiss it. My answer would likely be different depending on who is doing the interview. If its HR department, "I like to organize outdoor activities...blah, blah, blah". They don't care what your hobby is but may score you higher if you imply some sort of leadership activity. If the manager/owner/coworker are interviewing I would just tell them want I like to do ie hunt, fish, whatever. They are likely trying to figure out if you will fit in and if they can work with you.

                        Went in for a second interview today and as I was coming out I saw a TBH sticker on the truck I parked beside so at least I know I'm not alone if I end up there.

                              I've been doing contract work, but it's stop and start. Good money, but not consistent. I need a full time gig.
