    bad looking doe

I'm not sure what is wrong with her, but I have been seeing her at both feeders for two months now. That's when I set the game cams up, so for all I know she looked like this well before. I finally had to bite the bullet and post these pics because she will never come closer than this. Dad says all the other deer stear clear of her, but she won't come in. Any ideas? The bald spots are on both sides of her.

Does she limp? Maybe run over by a car?

She doesn't look sick...she still has her appropriate weight...color/spot on her hip just looks strange...the hip just looks like an old injury of some kind thats healed...

                      What about her being white?

Can't answer that but I have certainly seen variations of hair pigment color in the same herd. Could just be a genetic thing or maybe she's graying prematurely...She certainly doesn't look old/poor...

Could it be hot spots like dogs get?

It's been a month, and she is still coming around. She has actually come in close to the feeder a few times. I think it's an age thing.

ATTENTION POSTERS: DEER DO NOT GET MANGE!!! I would agree with the age thing, and she looks to have dropped her last fawn.
