    Hunting show idea

I'm looking for a little constructive criticism from the family.

I have been kicking around an idea for a while about a hunting/fishing show.
The general concept is a Combat Wounded/Disabled Veteran based show but with a twist. Instead of taking veterans hunting or fishing as a way of saying thank you. My idea is to have a set of Veterans who go on some pretty extreme hunts/fishing trips as an example of taking back control of our lives and over coming obstacles. Getting out of the nice lodges and hotels and pushing ourselves.

I'm thinking of things like taking amputees on a DIY/spike camp back packing elk hunt. Or a similar trip into the back country of Utah to fly fish for small water brook trout. Maybe an ocean Kayak fishing trip for tarpon or sailfish

I realize that there have to be some good personalities and a good story to go along with the show. So I would have to have the right folks in front of and behind the camera.

Is that something that would interest people? Let me know what you think and mostly what you think would be problems.

I believe that would pique the entire world's interest. That is an amazing idea, and, as a vet, I would be 9 kinds of in love with that one.

The problem I see would be liability issues.

I would give it a try. Sponsors always seems to be the challenge for shows. I think there would be a lot of companies and individuals that would donate to wounded vets. I would recommend having segments talking about the vets lives and story, giving a background of them.

ive got a good buddy that I take with me a lot to hunt fish water ski ride fourwheelers etc just to show you can do it. he is not a veteran but he is a bilateral amputee. he is always encouraging others to "get off your *** and stop crying". He would love to help you out if interested. He has wheelchair with no handles and would rather park in back of lot and walk than look for sympathy.

Yes Yes Yes. Sounds like it would be better than 90% of the shows out there

I know an amputee that would be perfect for that kind of show. Lost is foot in Afghanistan and is still on Active Duty and deploying next year. Did the Battaan death march and the Spartain Race with his prostetic.
